MODULE 1: HOW TO DRAW A CROISSANT
Photograph& Photoshop
During this process I've learnt about how to use photo stage, and how the light setting up could effect the object's brightness as well as the shadow direction. However while taking the photos, I found out that it's a little bit hard to control the camera to keep horizontal, and due to the low degree angle, the scale on this page might somehow has a few difference within 1-2mm to the actual measurements.

Elevation& Section
In this drawing and sketching process, I explored hatching with different media- fineliners & graphic pencils. I found myself more like to use fineliners especially on tracing paper, it is very easy to show a clear shadows in several levels due to it's different thickness. However compare to the pencils, the fineliners are definitely not well structured with form and tone. The elevations draw with pencils has a more smooth gradient transfer. With the section drawing, I found it hard to draw the space in details, but during the process I understand the idea of dark lines on the cutting surface.

Axonometric Drawing
I found this stage is the most interesting and exciting one among all those above. I like the way to measure and draw things in a technical way, and the idea of transfer a 2D section outline into a 3D feeling structure with an angle changes. Also referring to the lecture, I understand that it is really important to see object, see parts of the object in details from different perspectives. All the drawings, all the structure details in sections could help people better understanding one whole object from different point of view. I will use these techniques to outline and draw, as well as improve my sketching skills in my further study.
